Travelcaravan OÜ motorhome rental terms
Please read the terms before confirming a booking. The written vehicle confirmation states the price, excess, minimum rental duration and other vehicle-specific terms.
01Core terms1. Parties and applicationWho the lessor is, who the terms apply to and when a binding agreement is formed.
The lessor is Travelcaravan OÜ, registry code 16267981. These terms govern booking, handover, use and return of a motorhome.
Submitting the website form is a request. A binding rental agreement is formed once Travelcaravan confirms the vehicle, price and terms in writing and the customer fulfils the payment condition stated in that confirmation.
02Core terms2. Booking and confirmationA booking is confirmed in writing after availability and price have been checked.
The request must include correct contact details, the preferred vehicle, period and number of travellers. Travelcaravan checks availability and sends a durable written confirmation, normally by email, with the total price, payment schedule, deposit and material restrictions.
If the requested vehicle or period is unavailable, an alternative may be offered. It becomes binding only after the customer clearly accepts it.
03Core terms3. Withdrawal from a distance contractThe 14-day withdrawal right may be excluded where a motor vehicle is booked for a specific date or period.
Where the agreement provides for use of a motor vehicle on a specific date or during a specific period, the ordinary 14-day withdrawal right may not apply under the exception in § 53(4) of the Estonian Law of Obligations Act.
The booking may still be cancelled or amended under the procedure disclosed in the written confirmation and these terms.
04Price and payments4. Rental price, booking payment and paymentsThe total price and all mandatory charges are disclosed before a binding booking.
The rental price is calculated from the vehicle, dates, duration and selected extras. Taxes and all known mandatory charges are disclosed before confirmation.
A €300 booking payment may be required. It forms part of the total rental price. Pay only to the bank account stated in an official Travelcaravan confirmation or invoice.
The due date for the balance and deposit is shown in the confirmation. Any final settlement for additional costs takes place after return and inspection.
05Price and payments5. Cancellation and date changesThe financial effect of cancellation must be proportionate and clear before payment.
Cancellation or amendment must be submitted in writing. The refund depends on timing, reasonable costs already incurred and whether the vehicle can be re-rented for the same period.
Travelcaravan will not automatically retain an amount exceeding agreed and legally justified costs or loss. The specific cancellation schedule is shown before the booking becomes binding.
If Travelcaravan cannot provide the confirmed vehicle for a reason within its responsibility, it will offer an equivalent alternative where possible or refund the payment for the service not provided.
